Hi everyone!

Bookkeeping Alerts April Updates

This month we look at:-

1. The latest pages added to our site.

2. Mobile friendly site.

3. Password Manager.

1. The Latest Additions

Business Bookkeeper Employment Resources.

Here you will find answers to the following questions:-

  • Are you looking to hire a bookkeeper - what should you place in the classified ad?
  • Do you need to provide your current bookkeeper with a job description?
  • Are you a student and want to know what a bookkeeper does?
  • Need a template to develop your bookkeeping resume?

All this information is provided on the site and as free downloads in Microsoft Word - easy to edit and manipulate to suit your situation.

2. Mobile Friendly Site

Beginner-Bookkeeping.Com is now mobile, i-pad and tablet friendly! Access the site from any of your devices for easy, on the move bookkeeping help.

3. Password Keeper

If you are storing a gazillion login ids and passwords in your head or in a document on your computer, you could try using a password management program online. Never worry again about forgetting or losing your passwords, and you have the added benefit of accessing them from anywhere.

We currently use Keeper.

There is a free version that stores your passwords and provides easy access to your websites, and there's a paid version $9.99/year per device that has extra bells and whistles such as unlimited storage and backups, syncing to all devices and web access from anywhere.

All you need to remember is one master password for your Keeper vault.

Step 1: Download the app to your computer and/or device
Step 2: Setup the Keeper extensions/add ons to your internet browsers
Step 3: Login to your various websites allowing Keeper to save them.

You can get Keeper to generate and remember new, high-strength passwords to each website, keeping all your private bank, credit card and other information inaccessible to hackers.

Try it out and see if you don't love it!
